Gender: Female – Storm’s Mother

Bone Colour: Blue/secondary light blue due to nautilus mother

Age: 45 (22 at time of clutching)

How you came up with him/her: Storm has a side that is slightly uncontrolled. He will fly into a rage to protect anything he considers his, especially his rider and often at his own expense. His over protectiveness he gets from his father, but his fierce fighting skills and ability comes from his mother. Slight gender role reversal I know, but in a world where warriors come in all shapes and sizes having a war-like mother is not so unusual for a DC dragon. Her temper is balanced by a quick wit and a quicker sense of the ridiculous.

Temperament/character: As her name suggests she has a bit of an attitude. In her youth she was considered reckless, headstrong and unmanageable. She did race and won a few, but her reckless nature meant she paid little attention to tactics and preferred to bully and bash her way through. She gave Storm her mad sense of humour which she still carries, though her reckless nature was tempered some by the responsibility of hatchlings (but not by much). She no longer races with her rider, known on the racing circuit as Thrasha (the human was just as reckless and headstrong so a good match for her, also called Thrasha the Basher by those on the receiving end of their racing methods) but now going by the more sedate original name of Trysha. Her good bloodlines made her a good candidate for breeding champion racers and Trysha received stud fees for breeding her to a stable’s champion males. Some her hatchlings have indeed gone on to greatness, with one even accepted into the academy. She has had 3 clutches with a total of 10 pups. Both human and dragon are now retired from racing and breeding and are enjoying life.
