Description A studio I work for Tinmen Creative www.facebook.com/TinmanCreativ… does a friday theme drawing but there was 1 week where the drawing was "Done in 10 minutes". It was brutaly busy that day so people didn't have a chance to get it done. (which if your looking at the theme of 10 min drawings it says something about how busy it was.) But the next day I found some time to get my 10 min drawing done so this is what I came up with

Ashitaaaaa~ Makes sense and sounds good, especially as a whisper - "--aaaaaaaahhhh.."ing into the distance as it zooms away.

Hahaha indeed! It is based on a real cat I had when I was living in japan (Ashita translates as tomorrow )

Hey! Where'd you live? I've lived in Japan since 2009! Kumamoto, then Kanagawa. That's why I loved the name of the cat so much! Great purpose behind the name, and a great sound for whooshing away into space.

Summer is raging in all it's matsuri and yakisoba glory, so will do! I hear that there are more rotating sushi places over seas now, though...

I have heard that too, but a) You have to be close to the ocean to get proper fresh fish like the kind I was having in the Bo. and B) I don't know what the hell it is but I have never been anywhere but japan that does rice right. I have heard it is different grain lengths ect... but man the rice you can get at any corner restuarant or izakaya (probably spelt wrong) is mountains MOUNTAINES! better than the rice you get at a high class sushi place in t.o. So I am still going to task you with having some of that deliciouso sushi Sub question do you have Yosakoi in the area your at? that was such a good festival when I was there

Ahhh, I feel ya. They do have their own type of rice in Japan, and it really is the most tasty of all the others! And I'm from Montana...no ocean to provide for the only sushi restaurant we had, so you have to pay for flying the fish in, of course. I'd usually just go fishing and cook it for "free". But, boy, do I appreciate the difference of freshness (and rice) now! There was a Renryuu-sai where the people danced (the slow "old-people" dances) for 90 full minutes in the street where I lived in Kumamoto, and Dragon Boat Races, but I live in Kamakura city now, and no Yosakoi here. We have the archery festival that's most famous here! But I've yet to see it...timing and all.

haha well hopefully you will catch some wicked archery soon Yeah I really miss those flavours and I didn't expect that rice would be the hardest one to track down but there it is. I def took it for granted when I was there But I now know what I will revel in if I get the chance to go back. Yosakoi was real fun it was group choreographed flag/dance preforming and Sasebo was one of the places known for it and it was a hella rad time

Haha well I had the idea for it while I was walking to the coffee shop so it was just the drawing that took 10 min... which might be kinda a cheat on the challenge but hey I never claimed not to be a cheaty bastard at times
