This is an entry for the first group competition over at ~frankyxiceburg . Entries are supposed to be based on the lyrics of a song.
I first heard this song years ago, and suddenly it came back to me while trying to think about songs with good lyrics to describe Franky and Iceburg's relationship in some way. I don't think they actually hate-HATE each other. I don't think that's what the song is trying to say either- it's that they get really frustrated with each other but more than that, they ultimately love each other. When I realized this song had both a good description of their feelings and a rather amusing presentation, I got excited and started brainstorming ideas right away! Something I love about the song itself is that it's a duet to some rather elegant music, so the confused message of the lyrics is even funnier since it sounds strange set to an orchestra.

-I tried to set the mood with the background color- probably pretty obvious. Swapping between the two feelings of love and anger, I tried to think of some poses that could easily switch suddenly. My favorite transition is between panels 3 and 4.
-Hand drawn, then colored in corel painter with airbush, watercolor, and charcoal tools.
-Believe it or not, first time drawing a kiss between the younger versions of the characters. I didn't use a guide to help with the kiss, so I hope it still looks okay.
