thats very true (that comment down there) because before Nate died, he told Tessa to always have it with her, but ther hav been times wen she was not wearing it. gr8 drawing by the way! so funny.

I have a theory that the angel pendent is a glamour producer, and hides Tessa's true appearence. perhaps it hides a mark, like angel wings or actual clockwork parts

But there have been times when she wasn't wearing it.

since it seems like it was given to her by her mother (who probably knew something was wrong with her daughter), the fact that Tessa wears it so often may not matter. it might just be for safe keeping. There may be a trigger that releases the illusion, that relates to the angel, and not whether it is away from Tessa.
