This cake almost completely fake, there is no real cake in there, because the bride wanted to take it home and keep it. So all the tiers are actually foam. But we then covered it in fondant and the rest of the decor is made of fondant as well. In the bottom tier we cut out a piece of the foam and put in a slice of cake so that they could still have a cake cutting ceremony.Related content

Have made many dummy cakes for displays etc, I am most impressed with yours. Very well balanced design and pleasing to the eye.....well done.
