This is All That Glitters ' entry into ~HiddenMoonFarm-HARPG 's HMF Winter Dressage Festival ! He's being shown at "Intermediate Level." This is his HARPG show debut, and only his second image, so I hope he does well!

"Nah-ah-ah, Loony-Tunes -- you quit it or I will leave you outside!"

At the rapid approach (and reproach) of his keeper, the gold-colored stallion withdrew his teeth from the double-padlocked latch of his stall door. (The stall was a rental for the duration of the show; the padlocks were brought from home.) Snow was something he was fairly good at in his winter coat, but he was clipped for neatness's sake, and he knew a threat when he heard one. The Richardsons knew that Doubloon was, although a good-tempered stallion, a prankster nonetheless. Anna's father thought it was a miracle the horse had enough sagacity to have made it to third-level dressage in the first place, but he didn't ever say so aloud for fear that the animal might hear him. If ever there was a sentiment the horse could understand, it was a dare, even where none existed. Anna thought that might be why he was so brave over cross-country courses, seeming not to fret about putting his stallion-bits in mortal peril over every obstacle. In any case, he was better at dressage for whatever reason (perhaps his need to be the focus of all present eyes?), so he'd come along to the Winter Festival. Warming up, he was goofy (as per the usual) and when he saw a particularly pretty grey mare schooling in the warm-up ring he nearly crossed the line into "dangerous." Anna had some serious qualms about his level of dedication (and his level of rideability), but she saddled him up for the show class with those worries as far from her mind as she could manage. When the bell rang, she gave him one sharp half-halt before they were anywhere near the arena. You listen to me, now, hear?
