I KNOW I KNOW I should have made her a silly goose, but I thought a flamingo was also totally appropriate. Strung out everywhere, not too elegant, bit knobbly-kneed... y'know. Plus, I got to draw Anna as a shrimp. So there was that. :'D

This is Lucy Goosie's very first performance show! Since she's fairly hotheaded and persnickety, the only costume pieces she's wearing are a tailbag made of long, pink feathers (to mimic a flamingo's lack of tail) and black facepaint to look like a curved flamingo beak. Anna's wearing hot pink jodhpurs bought specially for this show, a regular pink polo shirt, and an inflatable pool shrimp with the legs tied around her stomach/shoulders. The head segment's deflated and tied over her helmet, but the rest is full of air and is proportionately shiny and bouncy.

I think the highest fence in this class is only supposed to be about 3'3" or so, and the lowest around 2'6", and I definitely drew this tropical oxer on the high end of that range. :'D

In any case, should be a fun class for Lucy! Y'all should go enter!
