Oij, finally I saw this on the track, Venetsia drift in Kokkola. Amazing Amazon!

Hey! Glad you liked it, it's really a cool piece of machinery they've gotten together!

Sadly I moved back to Sweden two days before the Venetsia drift event, so I couldn't be there to watch it...

I love it! <3 and my dad too! When I told him Amazon, he was forced to come see it.ย Dad first thought that it was ruined, but he was surprised at the sight of the car, the car's origin is well respected.

Ouh, but next year you organize your time and get you to follow the race, it was a really great competition, and a special track area. The organizers did a great job.

The guys really wanted to keep the car as close to it's original look as possible, and I'm happy to hear that they've succeeded. They have very much put their hearth and soul into this build. On the outside it's an old Amazon, but on the inside it's a technological monster!

I'll try! Thing is that my school starts in Sweden before the contest, so it's a bit bad timing from both ends. But from what I've heard from the team (and you as well) it must have been a great event!ย

Too cool! A friend of mine races an ex Trans-Am series 122 here in Ontario. I have always had a soft spot for them.

Yeah the team has put a huge amount of work into this car, basically rebuilding the thing from the ground. Thanks to that it's really standing out on the drifting scene and at exhibitions!

I bet that Trans-Am 122 is quite a sight as well!

Dang, that's an old Volvo! Haven't seen any older cars drifting around here in California.

Old on the outside, brand new parts everywhere else!
The diversity of competing cars make the Finnish championships very interesting!

I'm on it. Got some grassroots action waiting to be brought to life. There's never enough time, you know?

Grassroots is always fun, looking forward to seeing the pictures!

Time is short whatever you try to do I think. Right now I'm designing a hairdryer, and it feels like I'm more or less living in the classroom and the workshop right now. Quite annoying, but it's fun at the same time!
