She indeed looks the part, "bathed" in moonlight, with her forelock and mane sparkling in it! Also, even though the Moon isn't depicted astronomically correctly--with stars shown where they could never be, between the dark portion of the lunar disc and the viewer--I ^love^ the way it looks! Since it isn't our realm, there is no reason why, in Amalthea's world, magical "stars" (distant crystals or magical sky beings, perhaps?) couldn't appear in the night sky like that, perhaps even being magically attracted to the Moon (its light is reflected sunlight, but it is more than just that, as I [and countless others, I'm sure] have felt on occasion).Β
