Yes, this is definitely Clannad. Like all visual novels by Key, it has a compelling story and memorable characters. Not quite as sad as either Air or Kanon, but just as emotionally powerful. Their character design is just fantastic. Goes to show you have wonderful taste, even if you haven't gone through the game ^^
