The Empress is a dangerous beauty.
Even though she dresses in fancy gowns nowadays she still has the warlust and wild heart of a demon inside.
You'd do best not to make her angry! Or annoy her! Actually, better stay as far away from her as you can...just to be safe.

I love the textures here, and the subdued palette (Especially compared to the sketches).
There's something that makes it stand out from the rest of your work, but I can't really put my finger on it.
Plus, those fat-ass brushes work well with the textures to give this an old-timey-portrait feel. Especially around her neck and collarbone. They also create a great contrast with those thin strands of red hair.

She is elegant, beautifull and queenlike, yet you can sense that she is realy a old and cruel monster. May I suggest and hope for more Proving Grounds fanart to break the art block?
