Kay, so... I really wanted to CG a tummy. So I used that as a keyword. XDD;; Went through a lot of images... decided I liked this one! 'Cuz it would be fun to color. And... I wanted to CG a tummy because I've never really done that. No bare stomachs for me, ever.
I think I did pretty well though! Lineless, the shadows are maybe a little too emphasized, aka she has extremely strong abs, but with lines, it looks good. (:
Not too sure how much I like the fabric... I like working with reds and warm colors a lot... but I played around with some colors, added a random yellow stripe for fun... and decided I kinda liked the effect. So I tried to make it transition like that and maybe that wasn't the best idea. Oh well.
Hair probably looks better lineless, but I like it anyway. :D
Anyway! It was really fun to color, and I liked all the little details, like the jewelry designs, the little "danglies" as I called them on Photoshop layers... XDD;;;

Great piece, I love the reds and oranges, but her pelvic region could use a bit more definition, and BTW i think her abs look fine. If you REALLY want to go there, though, she could have defined ab muscles, the whole six pack. I think that's be cool. But it MIGHT be too much, so don't trust my judgment.

I think for her pelvic region, that may have been me going for more contrast, but not actually using enough... It's been a gradual process for me; I think some of my more recent work (which I have yet to upload) have much more contrast, and this piece itself has a lot more contrast than those I did just a short while before... XDD; I'm still quite far from defining muscular regions, but thanks for the suggestion haha.

This is really awesome! I love it! I LOVE Red. ^_^ I agree with the comment above that the abs and some other parts could have been defined a little more but it still looks good the way it is. A little more value on the light and dark on the skin and clothes would add more depth I think, but it's not at all necessary. I really love the tones you used - great palette! She looks very exotic XD

Yeah, I'll try to... ignore my inhibitions about contrast. XDD; I think I like it so much when colors blend smoothly... especially on the works of better artists, that I forget about how much contrast they include as well. Thank you for bringing that back into focus. XD
I think there were some other color combinations that may have worked, maybe pastels? Red/warm colors just came to mind first. ^^

That's probably my biggest problem, one that I've had from the start. I always feel like there's too much contrast when in reality, there isn't much contrast at all! XDDD;;; But thank you :333
