EDIT: The body position was bothering me so I fixed that--moved it back a bit. Also I made the line of the sleeve fold darker and fixed some other little things. Shout out to papercharm for helping me out!Pixel Chibi for Purishira !
This character is just incredibly gorgeous. Sooo many details. It was a very fun challenge!!
During this process I have realized that my computer's screen is wonky. When I charge it, all of the colors on PS shift hues.
So for example, I use a plum color when the computer is charging. When I unplug the charger, the plum turns into a bright pink, even though the hex code is the same! OTL
I guess pixels will take me longer now ;;A;;
Anyway, I hope the colors are alright! I took much more time tying to fix the colors //sobb

well zooming in definitely helps lol. um no in all seriousness, i just took my time. obviously the original reference is way more detailed. for example the detailing on her dress is verrrryyy advanced in the ref. she has a lot of buttons that are in pretty shapes that are very difficult to replicate with pixels. also, there was a lot of roping, and that was a challenge, too. obviously a more skilled pixel artist could make all of the details perfect by manipulating colors--that's a skill i don't have yet.

aw, well...it just takes practice, really. i had no idea what pixel art was or how to do it properly when i started. like with anything, you learn how to get better ;7; when i first started out, i thought my work was pretty amazing, LOL. now i look back and shudder, haha!

oh my gosh, those details OTL The sketch was simple to do, but the details themselves took like a day OTL I learned a LOT about pixel details for this piece, haha!
