"Well, here we are."

Raoul's voice was rough as he eyed the cave, while the others seemed arrive with the werehorse in a slower fashion. The leader of the group was the slowest to pull up beside them all. In truth, he imagined a smaller cave where only one could go in at a time. He was puzzled for a moment as he thought of a plan, trying to figure out what the best port of call was. The other equines to look around as they waited for their leader's instructions on who would be staying outside to guard the group. But the only two who weren't paying any attention was Conarri and the newest member of the group, Naerux. Naerux was a Jinrou who decided to stick with Rikardr after becoming extremely comfortable with Conarri. No doubt that she'd miss her travelling partners, but she'd come across them someday soon. The two foals were playing around in front of the cave entrance, under the watchful eye of Sirpa.

"I think we should all go in, strongest equines in the front and not as strong equines in the back." Rik spoke up after a while, looking back at his herd with interest. If there was something in that cave they could attack them, it was better if Rik got the full brunt of the attack while his herd could make their escape. Everyone quietly agreed with Rik as he slowly made his way towards the inside of the cave. For a moment, Rik stopped... he could hear something on the wind, hoofbeats. The large stallion looked behind him and narrowed his eyes, his ears swivelling.

"What's wrong Rik?" Jaecar asked, noticing his lead's expression change for a moment. The sound was gone. In a quick motion, Rik smiled at the other stallion and softened his expression.

"Everything is fine Jaecar, just.. thought I heard something that's all." Rik was sure that what he heard was another equine, but what if it was an elk or another hoofed creature entirely. With a shrug, he moved further into the cave. Soon after, one by one, everyone else followed. In a way, Rik hoped there was something worthwhile in this cavern no matter how big or small it was. But the group didn't know what adventure was about to be had.
