An opal pendant I made for my friend Anvy from Vietnam. She's a really nice girl who does charity work. She wanted something that looked 'antique' in style. Hope this fits the bill. I cut the opal myself, and matched it with a white Swarovski pearl and a pink freshwater pearl I bought from a crafts market because of its unusual shape. I think it matches the shape of the opal
I think the opal is from Andamooka, but I'm not entirely sure. Originally, I wanted to hang it the other way around, but I found that the colours showed better with this orientation, hence the design changed. I'm pretty satisfied with how it looks, the opal appears slightly lilac from afar so its all pastels against silver.

In any case it's a good design, looks simple but has a play of textures and shapes while still looking elegant and light. I also like that you tweaked the concept according to the best orientation to enhance the colours of the stone. Well done. I'm sure your friends loves this pendant.
