The real title I would've called it was "Lookin Cool Dave (But I don't even know how to play guitar)". I can't play guitar for shight
It's just a funny thing that I seem to like the semi-punk/dark look that some people (and rockstars) take. Interesting is the fact I find it odd that some people that wear all these material, jewellry and whatnot are still the nice people that they are...they just LOOK tough
. The piece was basically inspired by the song "Skater Boy" by Avril Lavigne and the basic fashion of the "punk style" that I find quite fascinating.Naturally, Dave the Fox can't pass up the oppurtunity to show off and look all punkish and "cool". I would not personally go as far as wearing a gold earing (ow....just...ow), but the overall idea is what I'm trying to convey. It's like in the song. You may not like his punk clothes, but you gotta see the man deep inside
.Course, sometimes you just gotta admire the outer appearence once in a while. C'mon, doesn't he just look cool?...Even a bit?...C'moooooooon

More than likely from giving the guitar a sharp strike with the pick...his arm is now stuck that way due to a shoulder injury

As a "furry" artist/animator/guitarist, I was quite suprised by this work of art. Instantly caught my eye, I should say. Everything about this piece (the pose, the "soundwave" effects, the stylized shadow on the ground) is very dynamic. The blue/orange color scheme works well also (those are my school colors!) Very awesome work there! (Fave'd!)
I'm also a college art student, so I say a lot of "artsy" words in my posts, hope you don't mind.

Thanks. Yea, the guitar I didn't put enough detail into it cause I don't draw guitars too often =/ Least I hope the shape looks alright (which i got a reference for it before I drew). Colour and detail we're kinda botchy, sorry =/

Most likely they would fall...guess that's the reference to all the blokes i've known that like having their pants around their ankles or near to the point of falling :shakeshead: crazy kids
