some fan art from Naoki Urasawa's Pluto, which I've talked about in my journal [link] This is the main character of the series, Gesicht, a robot police detective. This shot comes from a scene at the end of the first volume. I highly recommend this series!Related content

Urasawa's Pluto was a great adaption. It is probably the greatest adaption of the Pluto arch that I've ever seen.
Very inspiring, too; I hope to create something similar to it.

Yeah. Works out perfectly. Trust me. Gesicht is in my opinion one of the strongest characters from pluto. Urasawa did a great job (again).

Not my favourite Urasawa comic, but it's an amazing reconceptualization of Astro Boy. I also love this character, you did a great job expressing his personality in this piece. It feels very Urasawa without being a direct copy.

I have to admit, Pluto's my first introduction to Urasawa, but I am sold on the rest of his works because of it.

I started with 20th Century Boys. Which, in my opinion, is his magnum opus. Pluto hits a lot of the same notes, but with a very different theme.
