finally got around to trying out the manga studio trial i got a ways back. i'd heard good things about the program, and i've gotta say, i really like it! drawing feels real natural and i feel reflects traditional ink techniques better than in photoshop.i'm still a ways yet from incorporating this into my work flow completely (still getting the hang of it) but i may have to spring for a full version soon.

I just got a cintiq (haven't hooked it up yet) and will be getting into drawing digitally. Is manga studio cheap to buy? Do you like working with it?

oh cool! the cintiq totally changed my approach to drawing--it's a fantastic tool for an artist.
manga studio is pretty cheap, if you get the bare bones version without all the extras (tones & speed lines, etc.). it runs about $40, i think. but even the higher end one i've found for only $169. i definitely like working with it, and may start doing my pages with it.
