revamped an old original character for fun! Here's her first design from 2013 superlucky13.deviantart.com/ar… it honestly feels like I drew this a couple of months ago...so weird how quickly time can go by.

Anyway I tried to make her colour pallet a but more harmonious, simplified her tail design by making it longer and more serpent like now, I thought that was kind of cool. Alex will be an ongoing monster girl oc now alongside Zoey the sphinx (my personal fave) they'll probably be friends, though I have not given their relationship much thought yet.

Alex's back story is a little different now.

Alex spends a lot of her time lurking around local harbors and docks where she sales pearls and other deep sea treasures to passing humans. Her favorite clients are sailors and fishermen since they are much more likely to be charmed by her bewitching looks and as a result over pay. As an immortal creature Alex tends to act superior to humans, often calling them her "play things" or "money bags" though many of her peers believe this is just a front she puts on when she's around other immortals. Since Alex has spent most of her life travelling down rivers, canals and shorelines close to human settlements it's more likely that she simply enjoys human culture and likes being around them. Embracing their humour, way of speaking and fashion.
