yeah I mix up my humanized versions from time to time, non of my headcanons for them are set in stone xD I've had comments on it before haha.Β

I don't mind seeing varied headcanons for characters, just not sure I've seen a lot of artists who end up having multiple headcanons of the same character
also i dunno how to say this without it coming off odd or being taken Β but darker-skinned Rarity headcanons are my personal favorite because her pony colorscheme (light grey/white plus indigo- HTE LATTER BEING ONE OF MY FAVORITEST COLORS EVER BTW) just seems to work really well with darker skin I'm not sure how
maybe it's just an aesthetic preference or maybe i was dead tired of the people who talked shit about PoC pony headcanons (especially on the grounds of like their voices/accents esp because with Rarity that "argument" doesn't make any sense because the specific accent/speaking style Rarity has is one thats fucking LEARNED)

I have always very passionately defended poc humanizations, its something I do a lot myself, and I think its a shame when people just stick with the skinny white girl routine.Β
The voice/ accent argument really irritates me as well, because it just makes no damn sense and shows how shelters and just plan ignorant a lot of bronies are...its sad really.
Sorry if me drawing Rarity white threw you a bit, It just felt right for this particular drawings, it might have something to do with a pale pink background, but making her lighter skinned suited the pallet of the picture better for me. I still like the idea of her being black, and will certainly draw her as such more. Β
