I imagine that if Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie collaborated, they could help run a form of therapy where people play with animals to relieve stress and other ailments. ^_^

Whenever finals come around at my university, our college counseling center provides this very service. ^_^ It's been proven to decrease stress, much in the same way owning pets decreases stress.
And someone totally should.^_^

I would love it if my uni did that, I'd be there all the time. I can see how animals would help ease stress, my friends has two house rabbits and I just love petting them when I visit her u__u its so relaxing

Maybe when you can, you can buy your own pets? Until then, remember to stop to smell the roses and to pet the cute dogs out on their walks. With their owner's permission, of course!

The moment I can afford to take care of a dog properly and give it everything it needs, believe me I'm getting one.
and yes it's important to remind myself that things aren't so bad, and just enjoy the little things. I'm excited that spring has come in England now. Little flowers and starting to sprout up every where, and soon it will stop being so cold and deary. I can't wait.

Once that day comes, what sort of dog will you adopt? A puppy? An older dog? Maybe a particular breed?
It must be beautiful to watch life rise out of the earth anew. ^_^ It's not a sight often seen in Florida, where things grow almost all year round. The consistency makes life a little more humdrum, to be frank. But hey, life is always greener on the other side!

I would adopt a dog, I'm a fan of many different types of breeds, but I know my partner would like a husky...I'm totally cool with that if it comes down to it.
It is lovely watching england transition into spring, it undergoes such a transformation throughout the season!

Oh I am! I'm a fan of all dogs (though I prefer the medium/ large ones) though I probably wouldn't get a husky if I wasn't with him- since they're extremely high maintenance and expensive to take care of. I think they're wonderful dogs though so I'm willing to get one, it'll probably be worth it.
If I wasn't with Dan I'd probably get a mixed breed (since the family dog I grew up with was a mutt) or a Sheep dog.

Ah, I wasn't aware of how high maintenance and expensive huskies were. I can understand why they wouldn't be your first choice (I'd like a Rottweiler, but they require lots of exercise for their big muscles).

They're very loyal, gentle and intelligent dogs, plus they're quite common in England so they wouldn't fetch a really high price.
And they're just to add some texture since she has scales. That being said it's very possible that they show up a lot darker on your computer screen. I know screen quality and brightness can effect things/ I can very easily remove them

I imagine they would have to be intelligent, if they were bred to follow more human orders than just simple tricks and to corral sheep. A dog like needs to know how to lead, yet follow orders at the same time, and know how tender other animals and people can be. They must be like the middle manager of the dog world.
Ah, okay. ^_^ And no thanks, they can stay; they do add to her design. I didnt notice the texture when I first saw Sarina's picture, and then I didn't know if I should say anything; I'm usually not the shy one when it comes to art critique. I just realized that if anyone else looks at her design and asks me about her face texture, that I need to know why it's there, and so I asked you. Otherwise I would have to assume and BS my way through it, and that's not good.

lots of stuff. I began a mental health awareness course (I got it for free through my voluntary work), I've also been preparing for my trip to Scotland and working the odd shift at work.
Oh and tomorrow I have my other job, which basically just involves me taking a service user out for food and to the cinema. So that's a bit of extra money in the bank.

Alright, only about 5 weeks of my final semester at college for my BA in English and Anthropology. Things are starting to heat up! That, and I've recently come to realize just how unprepared I am to live on my own without loan money or a job. ^_^" I'll need to find a job and figure things out ASAP. Thankfully my parents offered for me to move in with them, and their company is more tolerable than other parents I know, so I won't be forced onto the streets. ^_^" Still, I'm striving to gain my financial independence ASAP.

Sounds like pretty much every graduate I've ever spoken to xD the big bad world is pretty scary, I'm still struggling to adjust! You can do it though! Just constantly remind yourself that you're still a young man and it isn't realistic to expect to have your dream, lifetime job straight after graduating or even a year after...who wants that in their 20s anyway? It would get stale veeeery fast lol
I'm pretty envious of your for getting to move back home for a bit ;__; it seems to be the norm these days, but it's good to get yourself together and have a breather after finishing your educational career.

I suppose that it's a healthy idea to acknowledge that I won't necessarily bloom into a mature and fully capable adult just because I will finish college. I'm still growing up as a person and as an adult, and if I want to achieve my goals, I need to put more work into it. A lifetimes worth, really. I guess I just feel a bit conflicted because that means that my self-expectations aren't too high and I'm being cynical. Aaah.
There are many factors that make it the norm, many outside our control, but so long as I can figure out what I CAN do to bring my life into control, then I might be fine. At the moment, I'm just as worried for my personal future as well as my financial future, since so many of my relationships will change once I graduate (in only 5 weeks now!). And unlike my finances, I cannot control how the people in my life will change around me, from my parents to my (too limited) circle of friends, to my girlfriend... It's all very confusing.

and change is just apart of life, it feels very natural when it happens even though the thought of it now is confusing. It's so scary when you can see a clear change in your life coming, but once it happens you'll wonder why you worried
