I looooove Raven's new hair, it's super cute. I won't go as far as to say that I didn't like her purple hair, but I feel like this style suits her a lot more.
And Beast Boy. What a cutie pie. I like that they distinguished his hair from Robin's because before they were both spiked up.

The original Raven in the DC comics had black hair...so ya know *shrug*

only because in the comics it wasn't in color thus it was up for discussion on what color her hair is thus i say it's purple/ any true titan will agree with my assertion

Actually there were different teen titans comics and they were all in color. Even the very first ones. She did in fact have long black hair. And my theory is that since fans of the original comic didn't like her with purple hair they would be unhappy until something was done. But fans of the original would dislikeΒ her with long hair and want her with short hair. So the creators compromised and gave us Raven with short black hair resulting in nearly everybody being happy (excluding people who just really like the purple hair

The DC Teen titan comics where in full colour and yes, hate you break it to you th original Raven had black hair in them.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure that TTG Raven's hair was black because she was wearing Robin's uniform. As we saw in "The Date", Robin and Speedy took on each others' hairstyles when they switched uniforms. I'm assuming that Raven's hair did the same thing here. After all, it's the only time we've seen her with her hood down.

I'd be kind of surprised is that's the cause, since Ravens haircut was still the same (just black) so the two scenarios don't quite match up
(and i'm pretty sure Robin and Speedy's hairstyles switching was sort of a gag, since they are suppose a lot a like, maybe the writers just wanted to have a joke about how their hairstyles where the only differences between them? I don't know this is just what I got from watching it *shrug* its a cartoon so it can be analyized in lots of different ways it just depends on the viewer (and it doesn't matter at the end of the day, its all just a bit of fun)
We'll just have to wait if Raven takes her hood down again

Good point. But I think it'll be quite a while before we see Raven hoodless. Maybe in the season finale.
