Feet me Seymour!I'm such a dork ... but I had to get that stupid image out of my system.
It came to me when a friend dragged me to kind of a yoga-lesson.
There we were told to breathe through the soles of our feet and well ...
I couldn't help but imagine some evil talking foot, trying to take over the world
which in turn made me think of 'Little Shop of Horrors'.
Did I mention that I have quite an overactive imagination?

I used my own toes as a reference. Believe me, after a while that tends to get really uncomfortable.

für die füßlinien habe ich mich im whrsten sinne des wortes verbogen. glaub mir, du WILLST nicht nach fußsohlen googeln ... so viele pilzkrankheiten und abzesse auf einmal hab ich noch nie gesehn. -_-'

Ich denke, in dem Falle hätte ich darum gebeten, den Fuß von jemand anderem (der gesunde Füße hat oO; ) fotographieren zu dürfen. Wobei es auch lustig ist, einen eigenen Fuß als Referenz zu verwenden - aber "live". Nur etwas anstrengend mit der Zeit.

painful? but it does smile ... kind of.
uh, no. there's no photoshop involved, apart from making up what my scanner messed up.
it's actually ink, applied with pen and brush and some white casein paint.

su.... das ist genial. ich hab ein paar sekunden gebraucht um den witz zu verstehen, aber umso mehr gefällts mir jetzt!
ich hab das als ganz kleines kind mal in nem lokalen theater gesehen. das war toll.

die ursprüngliche inspiration ist eine yoga-veranstaltung, zu der mich eine freundin mal geschleppt hatte. irgendwann sollten wir uns vorstellen, "durch unsere fußsohlen zu atmen" und es drängte sich mir dieses bild samt filmzitat auf ... worauf mir die konzentration natürlich etwas schwer fiel ... und yupp, ich kenn das musical über die 80-er-jahre-verfilmung (das lächeln dieses zarten pflänzchens war da wirklich beeindruckend umgesetzt
