I've drawn Raikou and Suicune both pretty recently, so it's about time I drew Entei again.I personally prefer drawing all three of these guys like dogs, but please do not take this as an invitation to debate the orientation of the legendary beasts. Heck, if you want to draw these guys as camels, go for it.

I agree that Entei is more like a dog than Raikou, but there are flat-faced dog breeds. Apart from bulldogs, boxers and mastiffs, there's also Shih Tzus, Pekingese, Japanese Chins, and Lhasa Apso; most of which are bred to look like the Lion of Foo, a dog-lion that Entei is modeled after.
If I had my way, I would've named my shih tzu Entei.

Well I've always heard them as the "Legendary Dogs," just like Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are the "Legendary Birds." Very beautiful. I like the type of dog you made him into as well.

In my view, though, Entei is more like a lion. I remember when I was little, I used to collect these poke balls that had a random pokemon inside - and I got Entei! At the time I had only just gotten into gen 1, so I had no idea what Entei was, and I thought it was a weird pokemon.
But again - beautiful piece! I love it when people draw pokemon in different forms. Keep it up ^^,

I read somewhere that there is a Pokemon Conspiracy that the three Pokemon that perished in the fire in the Bell tower were Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon. Thus, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.

Wow, that's just beautiful. I love the legendary dogs as that, dogs, but I can see how they can be interpreted as cats. It doesn't really matter though. Arcanine for instance is definitely a dog, even having "canine" in its name, but it's based on a lion.
