tv show..... from the 60's. Actually, for a 60's show it's pretty interesting (the genie is actually more scantily clad than was appropriate in the 60's.) It's HILARIOUS. Basically, Astronaut finds a genie in a bottle and she is bound to grant his every wish. On top of that, she is MADLY in love with him, and tries even harder than usual (making it difficult for said astronaut to resume his life and exploration). It's mostly funny because even though Jeannie causes lots of problems, Major Nelson (Astronaut) really begins to like her, too.Β
