this is 'kitty 1'. it is officially the first photo in my career as a kitty photographer. just so you know, i will become one...one day
the beginning is always a bit confusing...the subject is so different in it's entirety that it's almost like holding a cam for the first time. also, i've seen so many many fluffy photos that comparison was inevitable. this kitty (let's call her M to protect her privacy shall we?) was in all honesty not a very good model. the only reason the photos don't have movement is that the shutterspeed was 125/1, cos she was always on the move...very restless, nervous kitty. but a pretty one wouldn't you agree? i showed M the photos on my computer screen but i can't tell if she recognized herself, she looked pretty blunt. i think i could talk about kitties for hours
well, i bet ppl who watch me are not exactly cheering to 'fluffy art'. too bad!
i want to buy the magnet for my collection

nice take on the kitty photo. Kitties look good in themselves but the really great photographer can capture something more than just their inherent cuteness. You've done that here very well.
