-taken on my recent trip to the states blah blah...

excuse me for the simple, gothic cliche in the title; i just had to express it in a way or another. the fact that this was taken in death valley, CA. to those who don't know but want to ( ): death valley is the hottest place of the continent. actually it struggles of the world record with another hot place that is in libya, africa. also the lowest point of the US can be found there. the sign indicating that is actually just 10 feet from me in that pic

the plot: i bought the shoes from NY. i was hesitating on whether i should or shouldn't buy them cos i couldn't imagine the occasion where to wear them...until a guy in our party said "in death valley". of course pretty soon i got the vision of this pic. i obviously didn't know what was scenery gonna be like, but it was one of those "i know when i'll see it"-things. so this was the place.

well i hope u like it cos i personally think it's really nice. maybe it's just psychological cos i wanted it to be nice really bad. and i may never get another chance to do that. i know it could be better... i try to think that considering the circumstances ( the heat that was killing me, the fact there was only a couple of minutes to do this, the fact i had to wear my nightgown cos i didn't have ANYTHING else to match the shoes, the fact that...blah blah ) it's pretty cool.

who do i have to thank for taking the actual shot according to my wishes ? ~sininen . thank you.

edit: the borders were terrible so i changed them.
