I really wonder how it can feel to paint his face in such a detailed manner, recalling every little piece of it. ...The hand too, by the way.
Somehow, knowing from where you and the painting come, I find it almost more scary than "She LIKES IT".
At any rate, it's a very nice painting, gloomy and in which the 'silent scream' in the background tells a lot.
