A laid back individual, Shun naturally goes with the flow of things and never exerts more effort than needed in most situations but competitive when challenged. Rather than taking the lead, Shun prefers to sit back and watch. But by no means is Shun passive. If there is something he dislikes or disagrees with, he doesn't hesitate to say his honest opinion. He is practical and has simple tastes, never really caring for things that are too extravagant. Like any teenager, Shun enjoys having a good time with plenty of laughs. He enjoys helping others but tends to belittle his own efforts and self-worth due to being the butt of jokes during childhood. On the downside, Shun can be a bit careless and blunt with his words and actions, sometimes pushing the wrong buttons. But coming from a rather large family, Shun is naturally responsible and the sort to own up to his actions.

*Biography:
With Shun's grandparents being migrant farmers from Okinawa, the home he spent time in during his childhood was always lively and not only consisted of his grandparents and his family, but also two of his aunts and younger cousin. Although the environment was nice, Shun's father had no intention to stay under his parents' roof for too long. Years passed and when Shun was 5, another addition to the family arrived, a younger sister. By the time Shun was 8, his father had gotten the opportunity to work in the city. And just like that, his family packed up and moved.

Changing schools and environment did startle Shun quite a bit. It took a great deal to become adjusted and Shun unfortunately faced his share of bullying and teasing due to his weight at the time. But Shun had shouldered and endured by keeping his distance and learning to laugh at himself instead. Of course, a bit of an inferiority complex had developed despite his efforts. But rather than grovelling, once Shun entered middle school, he forced himself to change his mindset and started working towards becoming fit (thankfully, his growing height also aided his efforts). And by the time Shun entered high school, he had almost changed into a completely different person. But despite his newfound confidence, Shun still found himself unhappy.

Ultimately, the family couldn't afford to stay in the big city for much longer and in Shun's 3rd year of high school, he finds himself back in Yamanashi.
