Description Pauldrons were developed in the 15th century as armor for the shoulder and upper arm. Traditionally incorporated into plate armor, they are composed of several individual sections connected in such a manner as to allow good range of motion.

This is the largest of my post-apocalyptic take on the classic pauldron, which were inspired by the Mad Max films and Fallout video games. I hand craft these from used motorcycle tires, which lack the mesh of metal wires contained in other automobile tires. They are assembled with steel hardware and a distressed belt.

This version features extra-distressed tires and hand painted rust and blood.
