I'm pretty fed up with people abusing deviantart like it's a social media website. News flash, it's not. This website is for art, not a place to upload your selfies and, stolen images you found on google.

I was browsing through deviantart when I found an image that was taken from dragoart. The water mark was there and, everything. I went through their profile and, they just kept uploading pictures they found on the internet every time I refreshed the page. Half of the art that the person uploaded, was stolen from deviant artists. By the look of this persons profile, they were one of those emo preteens that are obsessed with screamo & metal music. I told her nicely that she can't be uploading images she found on google and, she got pissy with me and, told me that I needed to get a life.

Her defense is, "It's fan art, you boost the poster that originally posted it."

So just because, you're a fan of the art piece, it gives you the right to just take it without any credit given to the original owner?

WRONG!

She didn't even give the people who made the art credit AT ALL. Which, makes her a liar since she said that the whole purpose of her taking art is to make the artists more popular.

She didn't give descriptions on them either and, just took the credit for the art. People are complimenting the art that doesn't even belong to her. Those poor souls are being fooled by an art thief.

I reported the stolen art to the original deviant artists.
