The days were turning colder, and the wind took up speed in the vast forests of Glenmore. Summer took its leave, and although the afternoons were still being hot now and then, the trees were already turning from green to golden.
Mael had spent most of the hot months near one of the rivers, staying by himself in the shade and enjoying nature. Occasionally he had been visited by young fawns who wanted to hear the stories and fairy tales he loved to tell, but he had avoided to mingle too much with other grown-up Fawnlings. Although he was not the only stag in Glenmore to have a fair coat, he always felt like the others were staring at him – a relic of his chil

First time I drew these two! Well, besides Mael´s reference sheet, of course…

Thought about shading them, but I actually prefer them like this on here.
