It'll be a cold day in hell when I start driving an electric car.

Is this a follow-up to the Sebring-Vanguard CitiCar?

Sort of.Β There's no relation between the companies to my knowledge, but the Kewet is very obviously based on the CitiCar's design...

I'm gonna go ahead and so some research on that. It seems like an interesting story.

Let me know what you find out!Β CitiCars were phased out in the early '80s and Kewet only showed up in 1991.Β So there's a gap.Β It's certainly possible intellectual property changed hands, and it wouldn't be the first time a discontinued car came back for another go-around.

Just like how the Fisker Karma is being reborn as the Karma Revero sometime this year.

According to some research done on the Revero, it looks like there are already 13 dealers set up, mostly on the coasts.

As for the CitiCar and Kewet connection, try as I might, the only things I could dredge up were the Wikipedia articles saying they have similar designs.
