The Kithiyit are a powerful alien race that lives on the dense jungle world of Nunjiar. The Kithiyit, despite common misconception, do not live inside massive undergrounds hives. Only the Queen and her royal guards do. The rest of the Kithiyit race live in the trees, hollowing them out as homes or building homes within the treetops themselves. The Kithiyit have an incredibly large army, and have recently bugun building powerful semi-organic warships to transport their troops, and thus comes their role in the Aya/Phathagg war. The Kithiyit were once approached to join the Galactic Order, but delegations went sour. Now, hundreds of years later, the new Queen has been approached once again with the offer. Due to the war with the Phathagg taking so many resources, High Command has asked the Earth Space academy to deal with delegations. Kaede takes the offer, and brings her usual crew along. Once they reach the Queen, a stray comment nearly ruins the entire conversation, but quick thinking and a number of smart comments bring the Queen to accept. It is only a matter of time before the Queen sends her soldiers into battle against the Phathagg and Nightmare Aya.

The Queen of the Kithiyit is a truly impressive being, standing at approximately 30-40 feet in height when erect. The Queen shares a telekinetic link to all her race, and is actually capable of temporarily controlling individuals or even groups if the need arises. The Queen is also surprisingly efficient in combat if need be, and is armed with a number of devastating weapons. The Queen and her royal guard are the only members of the Kithiyit race capable of flight. The Queen is also a very potent telepath, and can communicate with other beings through their mind.
