Description "Its influence can be felt in every corner of the universe."

The Silek'Sia can reach heights of up to 7 feet.

The Silek'Sia are a sapient race of alien found on the now mostly mechanical planet of Silek and its many moons. As one of the few sapient species currently discovered by the T'Seela, the Silek'Sia have become important allies to the ancient race, being able to shed light on their view of the universe as well as sharing their advanced technology. The Silek'Sia are also in constant direct communication with the T'Seela, being their eyes and ears for their galaxy.

The Silek'Sia are a rather secluded species, much like humanity, in that they have no neighboring planets harboring life. Thus, they developed a society that lived under the assumption that they were alone in the universe, and decided that if this was so, they must persevere at all costs. While they won't share the details of their history, it is known that at some point their technology hit a level that can impress even the T'Seela and when this happened, they began to integrate this technology into themselves and their planet. Te result is a race of beings that can barely be distinguished in what parts of them are mechanical and which parts are biological and a home planet that is mostly machine.

Having such an interesting and hardy form allows the Silek'Sia many advantages, such as being able to live in unbelievably harsh environments and even walk in space unaided. To allow this, the Silek'Sia have re breathers integrated straight into their body, allowing them up to 3000 days of sustainable air without a refill.

On an unrelated, yet interesting note, like many of the sapient species the T'Seela have encountered, the Silek'Sia have myths about a great serpentine destroyer that have permeated throughout their culture since the dawn of their civilisation. The T'Seela have noted this every time, surprised at how every culture they've encountered seems to have some legend pertaining to the Krhashatha, despite none of them knowing of its existence. Interestingly enough, the Silek'Sia are one of the few who don't regard these myths with fear, but instead with reverence, seeing their 'destroyer' as a form of great cleansing rather than destruction.

Thanks! Oh man, this guy was sketched up some time ago, so I may not remember fully. The trunk was definitely inspired by the Space Jockey, while the rest was just me doing me.
