Description Series: Avatar: The Last Airbender

If the Freedom Fighters had a soundtrack... it'd have a lot of Flogging Molly songs. Especially after Lake Laogai, I found myself wanted to do a series dedicated not only to Jet, Smellerbee, and Longshot, but the Freedom Fighters as a whole - so consider this the kickoff!

The particular song that inspired this is "Rebels of the Sacred Heart", which ought to explain their tattoos as well as their clothes. I went with a turn-of-the-century Irish theme, mostly cuz I wanted Jet to look extra smexy, see Smellerbee in a different outfit, and give Longshot a fedora (yes, I KNOW that last bit isn't Irish, but smeg it - I want Longshot in a fedora!)

P.S. - My little sister/muse got me hooked on the band - o'course, how could anyone not love angry Irish punk? *cough*IrishPride!*cough, cough!*

I was referring to the music video in the link (at the time) - I do well know the awesome that is the Smellerbee. I really ought to go back to my Freedom Fighter/Flogging Molly art, now that I think of it.

i never put the two together but they fit so perfectly with the band!
they just need two more people and you could have seven deadly sins, which is one of their best songs personally.

I like that one, but I have to say "What's Rest of the Flag" and "Tobacco Island" are my faves. I saw Flogging Molly perform live some years ago, and Tobacco Island live is FREAKING. AWESOME.

Screaming at the wailing wall might work, it involves guns. It also kinda talks about how even if we're not fighting you're way we're on your side which kinda fits the Freedom Fighters.

Yeah, i suck at drawing guns to, so many little details. Try looking for a tut maybe or a good refernce.
