Series: Samurai Deeper KyoMAJOR MANGA SPOILER HERE FOLKS! DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED!
This image comes directly from my reactions to reading manga chapter 295 and 296, wherein Sendai Aka-no-Ou co-opts Yuya as his new miko/organ repository against her will. He staked his claim and made his mark, now it's up to Kyo and the others to rescue the damsel in distress. (~_~) *decides to let the feminist rant slide, for once*
The title is inspired by the song Hindi Sad Diamonds from the movie Moulin Rouge. My imouto/muse wanted me to set the scene in something more like a harem, but I had drawn the characters with the Crimson Throne in mind and couldn't really change it. I got whapped for the hideousness of the decor (which I deserved) but hey, I was working from offical manga art here!
(Go figure though, that Aka-chan can design such a fantastic outfit and not know a thing about interior decorating *shakes head* Further proof of the Mibu-ichizouku's decline in this one's humble opinion.)
As a sop to my muse and my aesthetic sensibilities, I won't be sumitting this to the "Crack Pairing" fanart contest. I'm saving the true harem scene for that one! (*^.^*)

I love Kyo and Yuya though! Now I have to get to this part to see Kyo's reaction... I'm only about 15 chapters away from this chapter.

Yeah, it was great! I loved when Kyo told Yuya he would save her.
It was also great when Kyoshiro told Yuya that Kyo was the one who screamed her name when Nobunaga (in Nozomo's body) almost killed her.
I love the KyoYuya movements! Kyo is so sweet when he wants to be...

As for scans of Sendai Aka-no-Ou - I think onemanga has chapters up to Aka-no-Ou revealing his evilness. If anything, the manga volumes are almost all out by now.

I'm sorry, for not being so..'thinking out of the box'. Sometimes I need motivation to get started lol Which is weird since I can do cool looking backgrounds on adobe photoshop or create characters of my own with ease, but with characters from a manga series makes me think too much lol
And I anted to ask permission first before using your art as an inspiration for a pose that I was thinking of using, now I'm thinking of using him standing up...if I can find a manga scan of him so I can try and draw him.

i'm pretty sure aka-chan's shown up in the manga volumes released in the u.s. and even shown his scary face - but yeah, they need to release them faster! the series has been over in japan for over a year now!

Now that I have I want to see more of it D: [i am kinda supporting the kyo/Yuya thing XD not sure why either..he tends to treat her like crap but they just seem to connect in some odd way O_o;]
