Hovering Lazily, the bumble bee flies
Across the beautiful and sunny skies
His fuzzy body covered in yellow
With black stripes covering the unhappy fellow

He flies past fluffy clouds of sweet white
But when he sees them they’re covered in blight
The bumble bee wonders hopeless and lost
Oblivious to the impending pain of joy’s cost

He drifts from the smell of flower to flower
Falling under the spell of their pungent power
His eyes are skewed in moral effigy
But despite his journeying, he comes up empty.
