Grandma's birthday was yesterday . . .

Made Inktober 2018.

Sketched with Bic 0.7 mechanical pencil, lined with Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen S and XS #199, scanned with random French scanner at Corep, edited with GIMP, colored with Faber-Castell, Copic (Bronia's hair) and Prismacolor (red details) markers, scanned again with random French scanner at Corep and touched up with GIMP

Lola and Bronia are making gingerbread cookies, dressed in their aprons and sweaters. Their kitchen is filled with Christmas decorations - a wooden nativity scene, poinsettias, ribbons, Christmas cups and Christmas candles. Outside the forest is green and the trees are ready for decorating. Making gingerbread cookies with Mom, Dad, Andrzej and Grandma is one of my favorite Christmas traditions!

I chose this because my grandma loves to bake.

This drawing was drawn at the very end of Inktober - I didn't finish in time! It was practicing drawing hands . . .

They have a traditional Christmas star on the pot with the poinsettias as well
