For Mother's Day, Bronia brings Lola a basket full of flowers and herbs.
I wanted an original but still pretty gift, and Lola's a mad scientist, so she'll definitely find a practical application there
They will definitely have some fun mother-and-daughter time together planting and drying all of these
Fun fact: I drew this picture a few weeks ago, but last weekend, mom and I ended up spontaneously going to a flower/garden shop to buy herbs.
I had a lot of fun designing the outfits and choosing the colors. Was going for a very warm atmosphere.
There are minor folkloric elements in Lola's belt and Bronia's flower crown.
Lola's skirt has bay leaves on it, Bronia's has caraway.
The basket has bay, basil, caraway, chamomile, saffron and little forget-me-nots as decorations.
This one might end up in my next coloring book

I did put a lot of time into it and I really appreciate you noting that
I chose these colors because blue is my favorite color and purple is my mom's
I chose caraway for Bronia's skirt because I myself find it beautiful and its kind of atypical and bay leaves for Lola's because they are beautiful and easy to draw.
lolol I wanted Bronia to give Lola a very personalized gift lol Its also a "joke" gift because now Lola has no excuse - she has to plant these with Bronia and of course they will be using them as spice and having them as tea
The belts were inspired by Roduslava Slavic Fashion belts (Czech company that followed me on Instagram for a time lolol) but the design is inspired by the Warrior's parzenica with the daisies
