Very similar to a wingless vulture.

Great work, I don't see many reconstructions of this one.

Oh, sorry, my bad! I thought your post was under new drawing of Nanuqtyrannus.

Well, Alioramus altai is not so new to the science, but it is still somewhat very fragmentary too. I guess Alioramus remotus more elaborated facial ornamentation makes it more interesting for paleoartists to illustrate.

Again, I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

Hey, no problem, it's an easy mistake to make!  And your Nanuqtyrannus reconstruction is cool too.  But I meant to say I don't see so many Alioramus reconstructions, whether of altai or remotus.  I'd love to know more of it, and other tyrannosaurs apart from the 'big' ones like T. rex itself or Albertosaurus, Tarbosaurus and so on.  And Alioramus with that knobs on the face is a very interesting one.  Your A. remotus reconstruction is great too.  But anyways from what I read, if the fossils are of juveniles, then the adults may have had even more impressive facial ornamentation.

Thank you, Willem!

It is no surprise you don't see many reconstructions of this tyrannosaur - it was described only a month or so ago and is also known from just few skull fragments. It is so fragmentary that I am wondering if it is worth reconstructing it at this point. If it wasn't for my series, I wouldn't have bothered drawing it. (I have been drawing a lot of very speculative dinosaur reconstructions lately and it is tiring experience, no matter how good to outcome is.)

Heh heh anyways no problem with speculative reconstructions, if only a bit of material is available then we can really use our imaginations until more complete fossils surface!

Thanks, man!

Yeah, with those long legs and fat feet it indeed looks a bit like a juvenile.
