Icy Motherland. Watercolours, 2009.The Earth, 700 million years ago, during the time of the greatest ice age ever. A view from the north shore of the located in the south hemisphere supercontinent Rodinia (meaning "Motherland"). The supercontinent's shores were washed by the water of the superocean Mirovia (meaning "globe" or "global").

Exactly! I'm going to study about this ice age in "Geochronology" course. Too bad I have to wait 2 years.
"Snowball Earth" theory really captured my imagination a couple of months ago when I heard about it for first time.
I knew that the scientists have studied paleoclimate and paleocontinents but the information I've read lately just make my imagination to explode.
This planet was really an extraordinary place even before the dinosaurs!
