I can honestly say that whilst my technical skills are still growing, I do pour my whole heart into my works...and I am so happy to say that almost everyone who is touched by my work feels the very heart and soul I place into it....and that makes me so happy...so thank you!

Just beautiful like the others. Do you use a palette knife? (just looking at the paint marks)

What I do is I use impasto medium straight from the bucket and apply it over my underpainting so that I have the composition on the canvas and I know where and what I want to highlight and emphasis. I apply the impasto with a pallette knife and then paint everything in with brushes after that.

Thank you my dear friend. I'm just a little worried that this cooler colour pallette might not go over so well in Australian galleries. They tend to prefer warmer, Australian colours. My next individual horse paintings will focus on warmer colours. Not sure how to make it work yet but I'll give it a go and see if I can train my brain to think warmer lol.
