Great job for accentuating the 5 creatures in the center of the painting. It is like the artistic spotlight is on them, but at the same time with the shadows of the leaves on them, it looks like they are actually blending into the landscape instead of standing out.

This is really gorgeous! I love the background! All that detail and richness and color... and the characters are really adorable, too. Plus the lurking monster seems really scary. I'm confused why there are shadows on the characters if there aren't shadows on the tree branch, though... but everything else is so beautiful I don't really care.

This is fantastic. At first I was charmed by the little girl and her fantasy friends, reminding me of the move 'My Neighbour Totoro'. It all looks innocent and happy and it has a feeling of springtime or a summer afternoon. After seeing all this 'happiness' I eventually freaked out when I finally saw the monster. It gives an interesting twist to all of it.
