The first OCs I ever made were of my Pokemon characters in the first comic I ever wrote when I was like 9 years old. They were Laura (which is now Taiki), Hiro, and another girl. I forgot the other girl's name but I have it written down somewhere.
I went home for winter break and I found my box of old drawings from 10 years ago and I wanted to redraw them. xD I redesigned their clothes too cuz they were so goofy looking.They don't look much like screen caps but oh well. D: I never did finish my Air Gear screen caps either. >_>; I have a folder of unfinished artwork. xD I used actual screen caps of some Pokemon episodes so they'd look like actual Pokemon characters.

Nice lil' screen cap there ^^ how do you do the trees, leaves and the grass? Plus the mountain bits? I'm not good with backgrounds -_- *faves* couldn't u give me a few tips?

I just did a Cutout filter on an already pokemon background from the show and then edited out the people. xD

Me too...but really you really do draw well don't ya? wat u use? PS? wat tool you use for inking? the lines are so smooth and on my drawings it ain't smooth -_-

I use photoshop to draw in. My lines weren't so great at first either but with practice they got better. xD

Ah ok, you use the pen tool don't you? I never seem to get the hang of that tool, i use the pencil tool in my drawings and the lines are never smooth cause of it but if i knew how to use the pen tool properly then i can draw with smoother lines but i can't -_-

Ah ok well u have done your lineart wekl with the brush tool, i don't use the brush tool anymore cause when you colour the areas within the lineart, inbewteen the lineart and the area you colour becomes a bit edgy or spacey, do you know wat i mean? If there is a way to stop that i would like to know but i dunno -_-

Ahhh I don't know why but my Pokemon obsession is coming back... I mean, I never stopped it but it was a little, humm faded... I re-played pokemon leafgreen, I might aswell re-do Diamond... My first comic was a Pokemon one too XD. It was about a young gardener who wanted to teach her Gloom how to grow flowers... but sadly Gloom kept making them die D:

My story was about the 3 of them on their pokemon journey even though Taiki and Hiro never really get along. xD When they first start they see a Mew and compete on who can find it again first and catch it. xD None of them do, but that doesn't stop Taiki and Hiro from fighting with each other. lol
