Personality:

Aria is a quiet individual. She's very passive, and does what she's told with little to no fuss, as long as it's just. She has low self-esteem and high expectations of herself, therefore being too hard on herself at times. She often tries to help others, and feels useless when she is unable to. She is very optimistic, however, and stays strong, never giving up. She uses her feelings of self-frustration and uselessness to motivate her to try even harder, and has fierce determination.

Sometimes appearing timid, especially to strangers, she often gives a bad first impression, seeming impolite or distant. It takes a while for her to warm up to people, but after she does (if they stay with her for long enough), she will hold them dear to her and will put them before herself in terms of importance. She can be rather motherly to those she cares about, often worrying about their wellbeing, keeping an eye on them. In the process, she forgets to look after herself, and can sometimes overexert herself.

Aria tries to be patient, and her patience level is generally very high, but like everything, it also has its limits and cracks. She dislikes it when someone purposely annoys her and continues to do so even after she's asked them to stop on more than one occasion. She is prone to snap and be irritable towards them, despite her passive nature. She also dislikes it when people grab her without warning, reacting almost violently towards them afterwards. There are also times where Aria would feel sullen and lonely, for no particular reason, in which she would seek comfort away from others, alone, to think, and admire the peace and quiet. When she does so, she does not like to be disturbed, because she knows that she may unintentionally snap at whoever tries to talk to her during that state. She bounces back quickly, however, and is generally fine again within the next day or so.

Biography:

Aria grew up in a small town with her mother and younger brother. They lived there, watching the chaos caused by the war, and struggled to stay strong through it all. Nearing the end of the war, they fled. There was nothing left in their town at that point, and they had no choice. They fled to the city, in hopes of finding shelter and food, and found what they'd been looking for. Aria's mother started working in a restaurant, as a cook, while Aria herself stayed at home to look after her little brother. She felt helpless, watching their mother work hard to provide for them, that is...until a Greenhouse was built in the center of their city. After that, they began to relax, thinking that they'll be okay. That they'll somehow survive.

They were wrong. Some time later, rumours began to crop up. Rumours that they would eventually run out of energy. That the greenhouses only had so much, and that sooner or later, everyone would starve again. Just like before. Aria wanted to do something about it, desperately, to look after her family. And then another rumour began to spread. Of a strange group, referred to as 'The 26 Letters'. The more she heard about them, which wasn't much to go on but enough to think about, the more she wanted to join their cause. She believed the rumours, that they were looking for ways to generate more energy, more food, and a better life for them all. And so, she sought them out, asking to be a part of their organisation. She wasn't physically strong, but she was quick and agile, and she did all she could to prove that she had the determination and willpower to do whatever she had to to get in, and to help out their dying world.
