Oh man, this pony is OLD...like, I probably did her five or six years ago.

So I confess, I've always had a thing for My Little Pony, and I may have gone through a brief pony-painting phase in college...flash-forward half a decade to today, and now I'm crazy in love with the new MLP:FIM show and collecting toys again, and maybe doing a teensy bit of customizing. So when I rediscovered this old girl in my mom's house, I thought she should finally have a place of honor and go on display. She's not perfect, I can see the brushstrokes, and I probably should have used more hair...but I look at her with fond nostalgia. She was meant to be a Valentine's day pony.

She's a repaint of a baity Firefly (her cutie mark had to be so big to cover some bad plastic. it was also fashionable at the time to do extensive paint jobs), rehaired with saran doll hair, and sealed with a matte varnish.

My Little Pony belongs to Hasbro, and I am in no way affiliated with them. I just like painting ponies.
