Description These we born October 2009, when my Avian Sciences class covered bird evolution. Then I decided I haven't drawn a dinosaur in ages. Then said dinosaur became a species. Tah dah!

*Swings a pendulum in an hypnotic fashion, and speaks in a soothing voice* These are not the droids you're looking fo-- Er... I mean... This is not a 5-months-late comment...

I really like the design for this creature, especially the coloration you gave the main picture. For some reason, after reading that the wings are used for display, I have a picture in my head of one doing a threat display like an owl- all puffed up with its arm feathers outspread to make it look bigger (like the first "transformation" here, but not so drastic since it has shorter feathers and all: [link] ).

I would have such a hard time choosing between Dromae and foxes... I'm SO glad I don't raise poultry.

Wow! It's been 5 months?!

That is so ironic! I just watched that video for the first time yesterday! And now I can imagine it too I think I will have to draw that sometime...assuming I remember

I would choose a dromae. I could collect their colorful feathers and create nice jewelry to offset the loss of my chickens...I guess

lol! I love getting random inspiration from lectures! Probably why I can't draw anymore, no more lectures lol But awesome lil dudes here, I love the detail in the main picture you drew there, on their arms and legs, for some reason, I think they would be sooooooo fluffy <333 I want one. LOL

Aww xD You could always... attend my lectures... and do my work And thanks. I'm not sure if they'd be fluffy...maybe bird fluffy, but not cat fluffy

Thanks! For my dissertation in ornithology, I will reverse evolutionize a chicken into a dromae-like theropod THEN mix in macaw DNA for colors. It may take a few tries, but I think eventually I will make one of these. Then all may have one! (Assuming I am not burned at the stake for "playing God" )
