your style reminds me of Geof Darrow. Kickass piece, and gallery too.

All your spaceships are good, but this is the greatest!

It looks like it is straight from the official design desks, and has a nice predatory look. Not a ship you want to show up on your radar..

I agree. Very wicked design, but at the same time, practical. I could totally see them building something like this. An awesome piece of work.

I know you use photoshop but... do you just draw those lines out of nowhere or do you use some system of your own to make the lines so perfect and exact (like the "line" tool)?

Please, I need to know!

This is a late reply, but personally I don't believe it's the line tool. If you look closely at some parts, there are little errors, "bent lines" that aren't as narrow as the line tool would draw them. I think you can see it pretty well at two little plates at the bottom.

He's drawing a lot of good mechs and he's doing it well, I figure he's just got insane experience with this style - and naturally the exact lines that are used everywhere.

Wow, thanks for taking the time to reply to me! I guess It's always a mater of practice then...

Haha, no problem at all. Yes, practice is indeed a powerful asset. Every time demonstrated when I find some pretty high-quality art on dA and the comments say the artist just doodled on their new tablet for an hour to get a first grasp for it.

Yeah, like me, I usually take like 3 hours just getting the sketch in place...

Thanks again!

I prefer this to the in-game version. The other one seemed "fragile" with the four prong thingies that served as the Ion cannon. This one has much more bulk.

Great one also. Although it looks totaly different from the original in game one, more ancient.
