im likin your ship designs, perhaps you should make a dropship for some of the mechs, then do a scene of said ship depositing a few mechs on the battlefeild, maybe a platoon of the pattern breakers

I designed those mechs for space use only, but Iβve been thinking about doing ground based versions of them - with bigger feet

you mean like something from gundam? I think that would make them a bit too powerful...
I was thinking of making some interchangable parts,
so that they can be configured for either space or ground (gravity).
Iβve also been sketchinβ on a 4legged mech for ship defence/boarding actions.

i was more thinking of some sort of detachable re-entry sheilds, on the arms, so that it could close them in front for the drop, open them to slow the fall then drop them for ground combat. im not much a fan of gundam, io agree they are typically far too godlike. interchangeable parts would be quite nifty.
